Hello everyone!
Today, I’d like to share with you a timeless classic recipe – fluffy & delectable Homemade Pancakes! Warm, buttery, and drizzled in sweet maple syrup, there’s no better companion for your breakfast that you’ll always crave to continue your beautiful day.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, plus more for cooking
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined. This is your dry mixture that will make the fluffy base of the pancakes.
-
In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients: milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract and whisk them together.
-
Now, pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and whisk until just combined. Don’t worry about a few lumps; that’s fine. Let the batter rest for a minimum of 10 minutes. This helps keep the pancakes wonderfully fluffy.
-
While the batter is resting, preheat your non-stick pan over medium heat and brush it with some melted butter.
-
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Wait until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
-
Serve your pancakes warm with a drizzling of maple syrup, and garnish with fruits of your choice.
This classic recipe for homemade pancakes is sure to bring a smile to your family’s faces every weekend morning! Not only are they delicious, but they’re also easy and quick to prepare. So, dig into these energizing pancakes and start your day right.
Happy Cooking!
