When it comes to comfort food, warm plates of creamy pasta never disappoint. Today, I will share one of my favorite recipes with you, Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta. It’s easy, delicious, and perfect for a weekday family dinner.
Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts (boneless & skinless)
- Salt & pepper for seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 cups fettuccine pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Start by seasoning your chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat, add olive oil and cook your chicken until golden brown and cooked throughout. Once done, set it aside.
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to instructions on the package.
- In the same sauté pan, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. This should only take about a minute.
- Add the heavy cream to the pan and let it simmer. As the cream simmers, it will begin to thicken slightly. This is a good time to add your freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine.
- Cut the cooked chicken into strips and add it to your sauce along with the cooked fettuccine. Make sure everything is well coated in your homemade Alfredo sauce. At this stage, you can also check and adjust your seasoning.
- Garnish with fresh parsley just before serving.
Voila! Your Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta is ready to be served. It’s a dish that truly merges simplicity with indulgence, making it perfect for both special occasions and weekday comfort food cravings.
Accompany this dish with a green salad or toasted garlic bread on the side for a complete meal. This recipe serves four people, so it’s perfect for family dinners or a small gathering of friends.
Enjoy your cooking!
